Tangled secrets book review

Book review: Tangled secrets by Anne-Marie Conway

Review: Tangled secrets is a heartwarming novel telling a story about a confident young girl who has lots of friends and does extremely well in school. Little did she know her life is about to change dramatically, and she’ll face problems causing her to lose her confidence.

A spectacular story written by the amazing Anne-Marie Conway.

Maddie starts going to a school psychologist with two other students one a girl who has problems with been heard and the other is Kieran Black the bad boy at school. Maddie doesn’t know why Kieran in the group but she's determined to find out.

Maddie is struggling for her mom's attention while at the same time she thinks her dad is replacing her family for another woman and her daughter. Maddie has no-one to speak to besides from her best friend and her psychologist Vivian . Maddie finds that she becomes quite close to Keiran and she starts to understand why Keiran is having difficulties.

Maddie is noticing that her dad is never home and she's too afraid to ask why. She knows he is spending time with another family but why? Turns out Maddie's dad and mum have been hiding a gigantic secret. Soon Maddie will find out her life has just turned in a complete different direction.

My favourite part of the book is where Maddie starts going to the psychologist Vivian because that’s where she starts to gain confidence and challenges herself to try more things. Maddie is my favourite character because at the start she is so shy and then Keiran comes along and helps her boost her confidence.

I recommend this novel for 9 years and over.recommend this book to anyone becauseb it’s sad, adventures and ends with a happy ending.
