The Maze Runner

An action packed adventure, ‘The Maze Runner’, is a trilogy and presequence to three other books. It has action, codes and lots of violence which will appeal to adults, teens and pre teens. James Dashner, author of this trilogy, has written many other books for this age group.

This book is an engaging novel about young teen boys, who only know their name, entering a maze. When they enter this maze they join a community which they call ‘The Glade’, a place with no adults or real sunlight, but that’s only the beginning.

Personally, my favourite part is when a mysterious person impacts the community, and as a result changes what people think about others. The mysterious person comes with a message which scares the others.

I strongly recommend this book to people who like the ‘Hunger Games’ and ‘Divergent’. People who like action, adventure and codes will also love the this action packed thriller. Don’t miss out!
