WADA hands down a ban to the bombers four years in the making.

Bombers Anti Doping Scandal 34 past and present Essendon players plus coach James Hird ,have been banned till November meaning they will miss the whole 2016 home and away season.This doping Scandel will mean Captain Jobe Watson will lose his 2012 Brownlow medal and probably won't play ever again. There will also be a new a captain due to Jobe Watson and taking banned substances. James Hird has addressed that he will coach the 12 present players who have been banned for a year. Fans marched and sat together during the round two clash against Melbourne to support and acknowledge the Essendon Football Club. A standing ovation also happened after the national anthem to encourage the young players.

Four other players now at other clubs — Port Adelaide's Angus Monfries and Paddy Ryder, St Kilda’s Jake Carlisle and Melbourne’s Jake Melksham have also been suspended. Some players and coaches think it is unfair because they didn't know it was illegal but could not get past WADA because of one of there strict rules which is the players have full responsibility of what they put in their body's. The Bombers president Lindsey Tanner said" this all manifestly unfair" and coach James Hird Said" it is a miscarriage of justice". So far this season the bombers have won a game and lost 16 but have come close to winning on a few occasions. They have picked up a new player ,Darcy parish who was the nab rising star in round 2 for his efforts in the match were they beat Melbourne.
